Older return Campers have several
choices. Those that are age 18 can apply
for a staff position, or remain as a regular
or Working
Camper (we
have had them up to age 20 before!).
Working Camper
details:
--Ages 15+ (special exceptions may be made by the
Directors)
--Willing to help out in all areas: kitchen (dishes, pots, cleaning
& laundry), Program (assisting with daily activities), Special
& Evening Programs (setup, assisting with running if needed,
breakdown & cleanup), Cabins (sitting in for Rest Hour or
supervising during activities), general all-around assistance.
--Expect to help out between 2-4 hours/day for each day attending.
--With so many trips & out of camp programs, expect that when you
are in-camp, you may be helping out more.
How
to Apply:
AFTER you have completed the Camper
Application and sent in at least
the deposit, you MUST ALSO
complete the Working
Camper Application.
Up to 10 MAX will be accepted during the SUMMER ADVENTURES PROGRAM
Preference is given in the following order:
--FIRST, previous CWG Working Campers
--NEXT, previous CWG Campers
--THEN, new CWG Working Camper applicants
Campers
asking for Working Camper positions will not be considered until we
have received a completed Camper
Application AS WELL AS the Working
Camper Application
Tuition is reduced by the following
conditions (exact fees per session length/age are noted on the Working
Camper Application).
Ages 15 & 16:
one-third off
regular tuition rates
Age 17+: one-half tuition
MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY IS THREE
WEEKS!
