Optional Programs
Camp Winding Gap SUMMER ADVENTURES offers some optional programs
that are additional
fee
programs.
They were developed to offer programs outside the regular camp
experience.
Your child will have a full camp experience without adding any of these
programs.
Rafting & Cherokee Trips are for
campers staying at least 3 weeks.
   Gem Mining Takes one program period per session. Campers hunt for gems at our on-site Gem Mine. This can be followed with a Jewelry Class where campers can turn their treasures into beautiful jewelry. Very popular with boys and girls of all ages! This program is open to all campers. Fee for this program is $30.00    |

Rafting #1 All-day whitewater rafting trip down the Nantahala River. Campers must attend camp for at least 2 weeks, be age 10 or older and weigh at least 60 lbs. Fee for this program is $75.00 Rafting #2 More advanced all-day whitewater rafting trip down the Chatooga River. Campers must be age 12 or older and weigh at least 80 lbs. Fee for this program is $95.00 Rafting #3 Medium advanced all-day whitewater rafting trip down the French Broad River. Campers must be age 10 or older and weigh at least 80 lbs.
