Camp Winding Gap can accommodate friends, families & groups from August through November 2007 and February through May 2008.
Off-peak rates are for November, then again February through April, peak rates are during September, October and May.

Nightly: Sundays through Thursdays, evening to afternoon
Weekends: Friday evening to Sunday after lunch
Weekly: Sunday afternoon to Friday after lunch

Base Rate Includes:

Cabin sleeping arrangements are all with bunk beds.
All cabins are enclosed and have hot water, showers, sinks & toilets, and front porches.
Meals provided are defined by length of stay, brunches are served on Saturdays and Sundays.
All meals are served buffet style and include beverages and desserts.
Use of Camp Lodge including library, VCR, DVD, TV, movie library.
Use of Camp Activity Porch with ping-pong and foosball tables.
Use of Campfire area, wood supplied for evening campfires.
Swimming in Camp Lake is no charge, but group is required to provide their own certified lifeguards. Lake is ONLY available in-season (before Oct 10 and after April 15).
For weekly stays, the Camp Trading Post is open two hours each day for purchase of snacks, sodas, souvenirs, crafts kits, necessities, etc. and laundry service is available.

Additional Offerings:

Linen sets: Sleeping bag or blanket with set of sheets, 2 towels, pillow & case- $10 per set.
Gem Mining- $10 per person (2 buckets), Takes approx. 45 minutes to one hour. Each additional bucket $6.00.
TV + VCR or TV + DVD player for use in cabin with unlimited use of DVDs and Videos from out extensive library. $14/night each.
For weekly group rentals we can arrange additional activities and programs depending on the time of year. These can include horseback riding lessons, archery & more!

To reserve dates:

Call or complete a reservation/request form and send in a 10% (of total) reservation deposit. (Nonrefundable, applied to total fees.) Reservations will not be held and group contracts will not be sent without reservation deposit.

Payment and other information:

Payment may be made through company or personal check, money order, cashier’s check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover card.
There are no refunds for cancellations of groups 30+ made within 30 days of arrival, or for smaller groups (15-29) persons within 15 days of arrival.
There is no reduction of fees for late arrivals or early departures through the contracted length of stay.
Any additions over the contracted number of guests must be arranges 14 days prior to arrival.
A contract agreement must be executed by the person responsible for group.
Children under age three are free, all others are regular rate.
An 11% room and meal tax will be added to all base rates.
For groups of 15 or more: A security deposit/breakage fee of 3% of total is required in addition to fees.
FOR GROUPS OVER 30 ONLY: Send back the contract with a second deposit of 25% of the remaining balance, along with the security deposit (amount of security deposit is determined by the size of the group and noted on the contract.) This must be done 30-60 days prior to arrival.
Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. If reservations are completed within the 30 days period, total balance is due within 10 business days of reserving dates.

Basic Policies:

The camp is in a dry county and alcoholic beverages are not provided by the camp.
Absolutely NO PETS are permitted by guests.
Guests will provide their own linens (sleeping bags, sheets, pillows, towels, etc.). Guests that wish to rent a linen set may do so at the rate listed.
There are no indoor smoking facilities.
Quiet times are from 11pm to 7am. Main Lodge building is closed during these times.
Guests are responsible for the supervision of the children (and adults) in their group.
Personal cooking or refrigeration facilities are not provided for guests with the exception of using the campfire area. If the group would like to have their own cookout meal in lieu of a regular meal served in the Dining Hall, with food provided by the camp, arrangements must be made at least 30 days in advance.
Guests that would like their meals packed out for hikes or other out-of-camp excursions may do so with prior arrangement.
The Dining Hall is closed between meals for cleaning.
Weekend or Weekly rental groups with more than 30 have exclusive use of the camp, no other groups will be booked at the same time.
NO GLASS bottles are permitted on the grounds.
